MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi comments in a video which went viral has stirred a fresh controversy. He claimed his brother Asaduddin Owaisi who is MIM Chief is capable of winning 50 MP Seats with the votes of 'our brethren'.
In the video, The Legislator blamed PM Narendra Modi for the murders of Muslims including Mohammed Akhlaq, Pehlu Khan and Junaid Khan. 'If wearing a cap is a crime, then be a Muslim by growing your beard. Neither sympathy nor anyone's support is required. Our Brother Asaduddin Owaisi can win 50 seats in Parliament with the votes of our brethren,' he said, apart from alleging anti-Muslim laws have been moved in Parliament.
Targeting Bajrang Dal & VHP, Owaisi said this country is mine as much as it's yours.
BJP Leaders have termed the remarks of Akbaruddin Owaisi as hate speech. They wondered why TRS Government hasn't booked any case against him so far.The Saffron Party is going to approach EC to seek cancellation of MIM's recognition.
