MIM has been contesting only in 8 Assembly Constituencies in Telangana. Majlis Leadership kept appealing Muslims in other Segments of Telangana to back TRS in the upcoming Elections.
This time, The victory for MIM Legislative Party Leader Akbaruddin Owaisi mayn't be a cakewalk in Chandrayangutta Constituency. Congress fielded a Champion as its candidate in this Assembly Segment. Who is that champ? It's none other than Esa Misri who is a very popular in Chandrayangutta. He is a body builder and second generation athlete.
Esa Misri is from Yemen but his business operations are based in Chandrayangutta. His Mother is a resident of Hyderabad Old City.
Misri alleged few parties have been using religion for political gains. He believes development happens automatically if communal politics come to an end. 'I was touring Chandrayangutta for the past 11 months. People here want the change to happen. All those whom I had met offered to support Me. If I become an MLA, My focus would be on the health of the people. Will bring a change in the health system. Ensure medicines were supplied at a low cost,' he promises.
