Akhilesh-Rahul Friendship: A Flop Show!

Uttar Pradesh has been the most crucial state for any National party in terms number of Seats. Hence, Rahul Gandhi joined hands with Akhilesh Yadav of Samajwadi Party to ensure BJP doesn't come to power here. However, Uttar Pradesh Voters didn't approve Rahuk-Akhilesh friendship.
Out of 403 Seats in UP Assembly, BJP is leading in 309 Seats as of now. SP-Congress: 70 Seats; BSP: 18 Seats; Others: 6 Seats.
In 2014 Lok Sabha Polls, BJP won 73 out of 80 Seats in Uttar Pradesh due to Modi wave. Yet again, Modi has won the faith of UP Voters with his whirlwind tours and speeches.
2012 UP Assembly Polls results: SP - 224 Seats; BSP - 80 Seats; BJP - 47 Seats.
The scene has been reversed completely in 2017. SP-Congress alliance & Mayawati's BSP failed miserably in stooping Modi wave.
