EC asks Akhilesh & Mulayam to prove Strength

The family feud in Samajwadi Party has taken a new turn with Election Commission asking Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh to prove their strength to stake claim of party's election symbol, 'Cycle'.
EC directed Akhilesh Yadav and Mulayam Singh to prove their strength by making MLAs, MPs and MLCs supporting them sign affidavits. Whom among them attains the maximum support from public representatives will be allotted the Cycle symbol to contest Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls starting February 11th.
Mulayam Singh Today rushed to New Delhi to meet Election Commission regarding the party symbol. He was accompanied by his brother Shivpal Yadav who was sacked as party's UP Chief by Akhilesh after his expulsion. Whereas, Akhilesh Yadav held meeting party MLAs who are backing his leadership.
Sending an indication that election would be contested sans support Mulayam camp, Akhilesh told party men that he is gonna retain power.
