UP Polls 2017: Akhilesh Yadav gets Cycle symbol!

Mulayam Singh received the shock of his life ahead of Uttar Pradesh Assembly Polls. Election Commission granted Samajwadi Party's election symbol to Akhilesh Yadav who proved his majority with majority of party MLAs backing him over party supremo & his father Mulayam Singh.
Soon after EC announced the decision, Akhilesh Yadav went to see his father who lives next door
Akhilesh Yadav's election campaign in 2012 brought back Samajwadi Party to power. Mulayam appointed Akhilesh as the CM of Uttar Pradesh, helping him become country's youngest CM. After Akhilesh released parallel list of SP Candidates for UP Polls, Mulayam expelled his son from the party. In response, Akhilesh held a conclave on January 1st this year and replaced his father as SP President. Then, Akhilesh & Mulayam's Faction approached EC to stake claim of party's election symbol, Cycle. Finally, Akhilesh had the last laugh. There is every chance of these two camps contesting Assembly polls separately.
