CM & Wife Trapped In Lift For 30 Minutes
By: Tupaki Desk | 18 Dec 2015 3:26 PM GMTUttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav found himself in a tight spot when he was trapped inside the lift. Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple stuck in lift for over 30 minutes after the lift they were using was malfunctioned.
The incident took place when Yadav had come to the Vidhan Sabha to participate in a children's parliament.The incident created panic in the building as both Akhilesh and his MP wife failed to come out of the lift despite efforts by the CM's personal security staff. Ambulance and emergency services called up to the spot and the lift had to be ultimately cut open.
The duo trapped in life for more than 30 minutes and the Security men and assembly staff heaved a sigh of relief when the duo came out safe.Officials said the incident took place because of a technical problem and an investigation was launched.
Akhilesh took to twitter and said action would be taken against the people responsible for this "Got stuck in a lift in Vidhan Sabha for a while. Safe and sound now, by God's grace & good wishes of well-wishers," he tweeted. "Action will be taken against those in charge of maintenance of the lift," said in another tweet
