TRS Government has been facing criticism over inadequate arrangements done for Bonalu Festival. The criticism kept increasing day-by-day as the Telangana Women carrying bonam continue to face hardships.
BJP Mahila Morcha State President Akula Vijaya alleged TRS Government holds the credit for making at least half of the women shed tears during Bonalu Festival. 'KCR formed the government with the support of women who comprise of half of the population. Today, He doesn't have time for addressing the issues faced by Women. If we talk, This Government complains we are politicizing the issue. But now, The whole state has witnessed what Transgender Shyamala and Bhavishyavani had spoken. Happiness of Women who brought Bangaru Bonam got vanished. They were in tears due to the rude behaviour of cops and officials. Can't KCR see the tears of Shyamala?,' she questioned.
Vijaya commented KCR's Daughter Kavitha has become Bangaru Bathukamma & Bangaru Bonam. 'Does Kavitha have the stature to lift Bonam in the presence of Ujjayini Mahamkali in Secunderabad? In what way was she connected to Secunderabad? We have no objection if CM's Wife offers Bonam. At least now, Government should issue an apology over the mistakes happened. Was CM's Daughter the only woman in the state? Can't they see any others? At least now, KCR should open his eyes,' said the BJP Leader.
