Akun Sabharwal cancels his Leave

The Drug Racket Case took an unexpected turn now. Till Yesterday, There are reports of Excise Enforcement Director Akun Sabharwal going on a 10 days leave citing personal reasons. This development has given scope for various speculations as the case is at a crucial juncture.
As per the latest update, Akun Sabharwal has appealed Telangana Government to cancel his leave. Even the State Government responded positively to the request. So, The IAS Official willn't go on leave until the investigation of the drugs racket case comes to an end.
Apparently, Excise Enforcement Department asked Managements of 40 Schools and 80 Colleges to attend counselling session on July 18th. Deputy CM Kadiyum Srihari alleged Akun Sabharwal is over-reacting while responding on the issue. Meanwhile, 12 Film Personalities were asked to appear before SIT from July 19th to 27th. At this juncture, TRS Government issued orders sanctioning 10 days leave for Akun Sabharwal. The two contrast statements issued by Akun Sabharwal while speaking to media yesterday only given scope for criticism. Following which, Akun Sabharwal and TRS Government decided to cancel the leave.
