Interestingly, in the United States, the people tried to stock up not only the basic essentials but also beer, wine, spirits, canned gin, cocktails, spiked lemonade etc. In recent days the sales of these alcoholic drinks and beverages are leading more than 100% boost, compared to the previous years.
Even after imposing the restrictions, the retailers are supplying the alcohol to people who are stuck in the houses. Since people are confined to houses, they have enough time to relax by boozing and watching their favourite programs. So, this is the main reason for the boost in the alcohol market now.
