Alize Cornet explained: 'My Boyfriend informed that I had my shirt on backwards. Within 2 seconds, I removed it and put it in the right way. We may be fined for breathing as wellâ¦It makes no sense'.
Following the backlash, US Open issued a clarification: 'We regret that Alize Cornet was charged with Code Violation. All Players can change their shirts when sitting in the player chair'.
