All eyes on Greenfield Airport in Amaravati

However, State Government is yet to decide on the exact location of the airport. Talks were held to decide on the spot - Thuluru or Mangalagiri or Amaravathi. The airport might come up beside the proposed 180 km Outer Ring Road in the capital.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has given the responsibility of holding a survey for identification of 5,000 acres of land to set up airport to Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA). Mostly, Either Thulluru or Amaravathi will be chosen.
AP Government might stall expansion of Gannavaram airport and use it as a cargo airport post the completion of greenfield airport in Capital.
