Piracy is the biggest hurdle of Film Industry and the situation is getting worse with each passing day. Luckily, Allu Arjun escaped a big threat because of the active role played by anti-piracy cell.
According to reliable sources, Anti-piracy cell operated by AP Film Chamber has conducted raids and seized about 55,000 piracy DVD's of recent release 'Iddarammayilatho' in Guntur Today. The seized DVD's worth Rs 22 lakhs and the damage would be in crores for the people associated with the film if they were released into the market.
Many film buffs have been expressing the doubt - Is it really possible to make 55,000 DVD copies of a film in just one day? To make this happen, the pirates need to have a big network and getting a pirated DVD print on Day 1 itself is the serious issue here.
Allu Arjun will be breathing a sigh of relief after learning about the news of seized bulk pirated DVD's. But still, he will have to cope up with sleepless nights until 'Iddarammayilatho' gets into a safe zone.
