I Am Trained Lawyer: Lalu Tells Judge

RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav who was convicted in a fodder scam case last month over fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 85 lakh in government funds in the 90s. A hearing on his jail sentence happened in this week.
The Special CBI Judge in Ranchi decided to hear the arguments of convicts in fodder scam in an alphabetical order. Lalu Prasad Yadav's turn would arrive on Friday afternoon. That's when Lalu and the Judge exhibited their sense of humour.
Lalu pleaded the Judge to set him free. Then, The Judge made it clear he too isn't aware of the quantum of punishment but assured the law will be followed.
Quickly, Lalu asked the judge to pass the ruling quickly as it was very cold in his cell at Birsa Munda jail. The Judge replied: 'Then play Tabla'.
When the Judge recalled the contempt notice issued to the former CM, Lalu claimed he was a trained lawyer. Judge questioned him why don't he do a 3 months course in jail so that other prisoners will inspire. Then, Lala replied: 'I have completed my studies in college long back'.
