Prime minister Nanrendra Modi's call for giving up gas subsidy is getting good response. Several celebrities already sacrificied their gas subsidy and joining in the list is Akkineni family
By the Call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealing the people to surrender LPG Subsidy, Nagarjuna wife and famous actress Amala Akkineni has surrendered her subsidy under Giveitup campaign. All the remaining family members of Akkineni also gave up the subsidy.
R Umapathy, Area sales Manager said that Amala also surrendered 5 more connections of her family member.It is said that more than 13420 people from both the Telugu states had given up their LPG subsidy and a total of more than 15 Lakh people in the country also gave up the subsidy
The total savings for the Centre, from the subsidies that have been surrendered, is likely to be Rs. 140 crore till now.
