Jayaprada Talks About Bond With Her Mentor

Amar Singh is the mentor of Jayaprada in Politics. The Actress herself claimed that the Samajwadi Party Leader is her Godfather as he was the one who stood supportive of her during the political journey.
Responding on the wild speculations about her relationship with Amar Singh, Jayaprada said baseless rumours continue to do rounds even after I tied rakhi to him and such things can't be stopped.
Jaya recalled the humiliation she had to face while fighting against Azam Khan in Rampur Constituency. 'Azam Khan threatened to pore acid on Me. I faced life threat at one stage. My photos were morphed and circulated as nude pictures. At that time, I had even contemplated on committing suicide. It was Amar Singh who stood supportive of Me during the tough phase,' she said.
For 2019 Lok Sabha Polls, Jayaprada is likely to contest on YCP Ticket from AP or SP Ticket from Uttar Pradesh.
