Amaravati-Anantapur Highway On Fast Track

Works related to Amaravati-Anantapur Express Highway are happening at a rapid pace ever since AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy sanctioned Rs 100 crore for it recently.
Previous Government hasn't paid attention to the completion of crucial Express Highway between AP Capital and Anantapur. This resulted in delay in works and more number of farmers began expressing doubts over its completion. Soon after the formation of YCP Government, CM Jagan placed his second signature on the file urging Union Government to pay attention on this project.
Amaravati-Anantapur Express Highway is a project happening with the collaboration of State Government and Centre. This 557 km-long Highway was planned with a budget of Rs 25,000 crore.
Officials have decided to set up Junction Boxes at three locations. YCP Government allotted 158.67 acres for Noojendla Junction Box, 130 acres for Kaavuru Junction Box and 128 acres for Medikonduru Junction Box. Amaravati-Anantapur Express Highway passes through Tadipatri, Nandyala and Giddaluru to reach Guntur.
