Amaravati Farmers Agitation Sponsored By TDP

Former Minister Dharmana Prasad Rao alleged agitation launched by Amaravati Farmers was sponsored by the Telugu Desam Party. He wondered why the Capital Farmers were feeling the pain when YCP Government offered an assurance on sanction of developed plots. 'For 70 years, Uttar Andhra People suffered due to lack of proper drinking water yet we didn't launch any movement. People of Few Villages in Amaravati have been making a hue & cry ever since the proposal to establish 3 capitals was announced. What kind of agitation was that? Media is offering so much of coverage to the protests staged by few villagers as if there is no other issue,' he opined.
The YCP MLA told its high time all the people should collectively support YS Jaganmohan Reddy for the vision he had for all-round development. He exuded confidence on decentralised development in four regions of AP under the YCP Rule.
Majority of the people in Andhra Pradesh are happy with the new development model suggested by the Experts Panel appointed by YCP Government. They believe equal justice will be done to all the regions with the establishment of three capitals. Some of the TDP Leaders including Ganta Srinivasa Rao had openly extended support to the new proposal.
