The TDP leaders are losing their sleep over the hyper active raids by the Special Investigation Team of the AP Government. The SIT is now unearthing the shady insider deals on the capital lands. On Friday, flash raids on several moneybags in Vijayawada down have left them jittery. These biggies are all closely linked to the TDP leaders.

One such big ticket industrialist lives in Patamata and is said to be quite close to former minister Prattipati Pullarao. The SIT sleuths seized several computer hard discs, documents related to assets and properties and bank lockers from the residence of this industrialist. He was asked to explain about his links with the TDP leaders and were asked about their incomes, details of the lands purchased in the Capital aea and the source of funds used to buy these lands. This is all the more irksome as the enforcement directorate has already booked cases against former ministers Prattipati and Naryana. The SIT is also probing as to how these benamis could buy lands gifted by the Government to 797 white ration cards. All this is giving jitters to the TDP biggies, especially the ministers, who are now working overtime to wriggle out of these cases.

Intelligence DG Kolli Raghurama Reddy is the head of the SIT, which is functioning from Poranki near Vijayawada.
