Amaravati to be Agriculture Zone?

Farmers and public of the capital city Amaravati region have hit the roads and agitating for 15 days opposing the government's rule to have three capitals for the legislature, executive and judiciary each.
They have recently written a letter to President Ram Nath Kovind and requested him to intervene in Amaravati row or allow them for 'mercy killing'.
It has been widely reported that the AP government is opting to use Amaravati as Special Agriculture Zone(SAZ) in 33,000 acres of land which was acquired under land-pooling.
The proposed SAZ zone will be possessing some very good facilities like power su[ply for 24 hours, labs for testing soil, farm equipment, cold storages, agronomy training.
Reportedly the government is in the mood to develop these plots and hand over them to the farmers going with the Capital design. This rumor has raised many questions in farmers who are agitating for Amaravati. If the government provides more details the air surrounding this will be cleared.
