Amazon Web Services To Invest Rs 20,761 In Hyderabad, Largest Investment In The State So Far

The series of meetings held with the AWS yielded fruitful outcomes and, the firm agreed to invest Rs 20,761 crore ( USD 2.77 Billion. Telangana Minister of Minister of MA&UD, Industries, and IT&C announced the same on his Twitter handle.
"Happy to announce the largest FDI in the history of Telangana! After a series of meetings, AWS has finalized investment of ₹20,761 Cr ($ 2.77 Bn) to set up multiple data centers in Telangana. The @AWSCloud Hyd Region is expected to be launched by mid 2022#HappeningHyderabad," KTR's tweet read.
The Amazon Web Services(AWS) which is expected to start its operation in Hyderabad by mid-2022 will make investments in other parts of the state too.
The Rs 20,761 crore investment of AWS is the largest direct investment (FDI) Telangana state has ever received since the state was carved out of Andhra Pradesh in 2014.
The AWS hub in Hyderabad will mark the second hub for the firm. Earlier the firm has invested in the financial capital of the country Mumbai. The firm has 11 hubs actress the Asian content including the Hyderabad hub.
