Ambati Rayudu's U-Turn On Retirement

Ambati Rayudu left everyone stunned by announcing retirement from International Cricket when the ICC World Cup 2019 was happening in England. He now took an u-turn and decided to continue playing at the highest level for few more years.
In the email sent to Hyderabad Cricket Academy CoA, Ambati Rayudu told decision to retire was an emotional one. He offered to withdraw his retirement and play the game in all the formats. 'I will be available for the Hyderabad Team from September 10th,' wrote the Batsman.
Rayudu thanked IPL Franchise Chennai Super Kings, VVS Laxman and Noel David for the support they extended to him during the tough time. He revealed it was them who made him realize that there is still enough cricket left in him.
In the recent World Cup, Ambati Rayudu wasn't taken as replacement even after Shikhar Dhawan and Vijay Shankar got injured. Rishabh Pant and Mayank Agarwal were included in the 15-member squad as replacements. Rayudu took the retirement call in that frustration.
