Ambedkar & Modi Are Brahmins: Speaker

Gujarat Assembly Speaker Rajendra Trivedi kicked up a storm by saying both Dr. BR Ambedkar and PM Narendra Modi belong to the Brahmin Community. He even declared Lord Krishna was an OBC.
At the 'Mega Brahmin Business Summit' in Gandhinagar, Rajendra Trivedi told: 'I won't hesitate to say BR Ambedkar was a Brahmin. A Brahmin Teacher was the one who offered surname 'Ambedkar', a Brahmin name, to him. There is nothing wrong about calling a well-learned person as Brahmin. So, I would say Modi is also a Brahmin'.
Mr. Trivedi said Lord Krishna was an OBC and he was made god by Rishi Sandipani. Whereas, Lord Rama was a Kshatriya and he too is being made god by the Rishis.
Speaker opined Brahmins were never power-hungry and they were instrumental in making Rama, Krishna as gods. Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani and Deputy CM Nitin Patel were present when he made these comments.
