Around 60,000 Succumbed To COVID-19 In US

The US continues to be the worst-hit nation of the COVID 19 pandemic as in the last three months 59,061 have succumbed to the fatal virus to date in the country. The data shows that the COVID 19 fatalities are more than that of deceased people in the Vietnam war.
The official data states that more than 10 lakh people in the US were infected with the fatal virus as of now creating many concerns and fears about the situation in the country.
Some media reports state that the actual number of infections might be even more and the real data is not revealed by the authorities properly. Earlier in the Vietnam war, more than 58,000 have lost their lives.
During 2017-18 around 60,000 have succumbed to the fatal flu virus. The count of COVID 19 fatalities is close to flu deaths. The interesting part is Donald Trump is trying to defend the government and said that the condition in the country came under control with the measures taken by the government.
