Death of a person leads to emergency in Baltimore city of Maryland USA.25 years old Freddie Gray died a week after suffering injuries while in Baltimore police custody.
Gray died after spending seven days in a coma as a result of injuries he suffered while in the custody of city police. Gray died April 19, a week after he was severely injured while in police custody
Angered with death of Gray his friends and kin took to streets to express their protest.Some anti-social elements also joined with them and the situation goes worse. Governor Larry Hogan has signed an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency after violent rioting and looting erupted in the city.
Freddie Gray had a lengthy criminal record, mainly for drug-related offenses. The investigation into GrayÂ’s death is ongoing, but the people of the city has grown more and more frustrated with the police departmentÂ’s response.
