Amid Covid-19 fear, authorities declare Srikakulam district headquarters as a Containment Zone!

The decision was taken after the Srikakulam city has been reporting the major share of Coronavirus infections in the district. The shops in the headquarters have operated till 2 PM only.
The orders issued by the authorities state that for the next 14 days, the Containment Zone will be in effect. During this period, all the shops in the district headquarters will remain closed after 2 PM.
Talking about the new orders, Collector J. Nivas has appealed to the people and shop owners in the headquarters to kindly cooperate with the authorities for a smooth implementation of the orders.
On the other hand, the Police personnel are keeping a vigil on public movements to see that people won't break the Coronavirus guidelines. The authorities are taking strict action against the violators.
