When a few politicians from the Southern states are raising their voices against the Hindi imposition saying that they won't accept Hindi as the national language, the issue took a turn when a Superstar from the South said Hindi is not the national language anymore. The Superstar is none other than Kiccha Sudeep, he had appeared in a few Hindi films.

At an event, Sudeep said that Hindi is not the national language. His comments did not go well with Bollywood action hero Ajay Devgn. He hit back saying that no matter what Hindi will be the national language of the country.

After a few tweets and counter tweets, both Kiccha Sudeep and Ajay Devgn had rested their case saying that the issue got lost in translation and they respect each other's languages.

When everyone thought that the issue is over, maverick director Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV stepped in and gave a new path to the issue. He said that the tweets made by Ajay Devgn are nothing but Hindi vs Kannada as KGF is striking gold at the box office while the Hindi film runway 34 is struggling to get collections.

Ram Gopal Varma said that Bollywood is jealous of the success of the south and the issue appears like a war between Bollywood and Sandalwood. RGV even dubbed the north stars as insecure.

"Like the PROOF of the PUDDING is in the eating , the runway 34 collections will prove how much GOLD (kgf2) is there in HINDI versus KANNADA .. @ajaydevgn versus @KicchaSudeep," Ram Gopal Varma tweeted.

"The base undeniable ground truth @KicchaSudeep sir ,is that the north stars are insecure and jealous of the south stars because a Kannada dubbing film #KGF2 had a 50 crore opening day and we all are going to see the coming opening days of Hindi films, he maintained.

"Whether u intended or not am glad u made this statement ,because unless there's a strong stir , there cannot be a calm especially at a time when there seems to be a war like situation between Bolly(north)wood and Sandal(South) wood," Ram Gopal Varma added.
