Amid threat from Russia,Ukraine seeks India's Help!

The European nation Ukraine is in the middle of the crisis with Russia announcing war against it. The Russian army is passing through the key cities in Ukraine to claim control over it and a few cities and an airport are said to have fallen before the bulldozing Russian army.
With tension prevailing all over, Ukraine's envoy Igor Polikha had opined that given the role played by India in the global arena, the situation might come under control and Russia might respond positively if India intervened.
Calling India an influential and respected nation in the world, Igor Polikha requested that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi should step in and hold talks with Russian President Putin. As both leaders enjoy good friendship, Putin might understand the situation.
Mentioning that the Indian government is making quality efforts to airlift Indians from Ukraine, the envoy had said that the Indian Prime Minister should make a similar effort to sort out the crisis.
Mr. Polikha had mentioned Mahabharath and Chanakya in his speech and said that India is famous for its rich mythology roots and hence it should help Ukraine in the crisis.
"I'm dealing with India from my young student years and I know a lot about your history of diplomacy. You had such bright guys… like Chanakya, or a he is otherwise called, Kautilya, approximately 2500 years back when on the major parts of Europe, there was no civilization," the envoy said in his speech.
