The violence that erupted in the Northeast part of Delhi over the controversial Citizenship act has resulted in the death of five people including one police constable.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has taken this as a serious issue and called for a meeting with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.

The meeting came after the Home Minister reviewed the law and order situation in Delhi as a tense situation erupted after the violence rocked the Northeast Delhi.

Around 50 people were injured including several paramilitary and Delhi Police personnel as violence spiraled in the Northeast Delhi over the CAA bill.

It all started with the protesters who were protesting against the controversial CAA bill pelting stones and setting shops ablaze. Even some houses and markers were also set on fire.

A gunman can be seen holding a gun at a police officer and firing bullets in the air. This footage has left the netizens into two groups as one group says that he is a terrorist and the other says he belongs to the RSS group.
