No Defense, Keep Attacking: Shah to AP BJP
By: Tupaki Desk | 2 Feb 2018 5:42 AM GMTAmit Shah has given full clarity to AP BJP Leaders about the approach they need to adopt after facing criticism from all ends over injustice to the capital-less state in Union Budget 2018. He asked party leaders to launch counter attack if there is any criticism on the national party in power.
On Thursday, AP BJP Chief Kambhampati Haribabu, Floor Leader Vishnu Kumar Raju, Purandeswari and Kanna Lakshminarayana met Amit Shah in New Delhi. They reported to party leadership about the stand taken by TDP after the presentation of Union Budget. In reply, Amit Shah questioned, 'What is this even after offering all that Chandrababu has sought from us? You needn't feel tensed or get scared of the criticism from TDP. Though AP hadn't submitted DPR for Capital Construction, We are sanctioning funds through some other account. What could we do if AP Government doesn't submit reports?'.
Shah informed AP Leaders that Centre is still considering establishing Railway Zone in Visakha though experts are against the proposal. Even the delimitation of Assembly Constituencies in Telugu States came up for discussion.
Whereas, Kambhampati Haribabu who have a soft corner for Chandrababu Naidu focused majorly on strengthening of party rather than the conflict. While speaking to media, He assured: 'TDP and BJP are still alliance partners. There is no rift…even if there is any issue, party leadership will resolve it. Amit Shah will soon tour Rayalaseema region'.
