To focus on the Assembly polls scheduled to take place in Uttar Pradesh in the year 2017, BJP President on Tuesday visited Varanasi. What caught the attention of everyone is the party chief dining with Dalits and OBCs who could be the deciding factor in the upcoming elections. Photographs of Amit Shah dining at the house of BJP Worker Girija Prasad were all over internet now.
BSP supremo Mayawati came down heavily on Amit Shah describing his act as nothing short of a 'drama' and compared it to Rahul Gandhi's visits to Dalit homes during UPA Regime. She alleged BJP is cattiest and trying to lure voters by playing tricks.
Even UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav appealed Amit Shah not to divide people on the basis of caste.
