During his Hyderabad tour, Amit Shah met Ramoji Rao going all the way to the Film City and the meeting lasted for more than 45 minutes. Secrecy has been maintained over the issues which has come up for discussion between them. Meeting between Ramoji Rao and Amit Shah is a strategic move planned keeping 2019 Polls in mind.
AP CM Chandrababu Naidu looking forward to form alliance with Congress in 2019 came up for discussion between the two. Focus shifted to Plan B as Naidu alone can't face YS Jagan who's party is able to get close to 10 percent vote share more than TDP in the recent surveys. So, Chandrababu Naidu wishes to move closer to Congress to minimize the gap.
Andhrites have been fuming at BJP for backtracking on Special Category Status. This is why, TDP has been distancing BJP and moving closer to Congress but this is just for a short period. TDP would extend support to NDA post the elections depending on the situation. This is why Amit Shah and Ramoji Rao has met once to implement this plan perfectly.
