Assam: Amit Shah promises to bring laws against 'love and land jihad' if elected to power

Addressing the rally, Amit Shah said the BJP will bring laws to counter the love jihad and land jihad in Assam if they were elected to power in the upcoming Assembly elections.
Another big promise made by the Union Home Minister is, giving a scooty for every ladies College Student for free of cost. He called the election promise a token of women's empowerment.
Addressing the massive rally held in Kamrup's district in Assam, Amit Shah said that the party's manifesto has several items to offer while enacting laws against the love and land jihad are the main.
Crediting the saffron party for eradicating the agitations and activities triggered by terrorism in the state, Amit Shah promised to make Assam into an employment hub and appropriate measures would be taken to tackle the floods.
Calling Vaishnav saints Srimanta Sankardeva and Madhavdeva, brave Ahom general Lachit Barphukan as the true identity of the state, Amit Shah breathed fire on Congress and Badruddin Ajmal-led All India United Democratic Front for trying to portray Badruddin Ajmal as Assam's identity.
