12 Percent Reservations for Muslims is one of the biggest poll promise of TRS for 2014 General Elections. After becoming the first chief minister of Telangana, KCR passed a resolution granting the quota for Minorities in the State Assembly. He had forwarded the same to Centre for final clearance.
In his recent public meeting, KCR vented out his anguish on the NDA Government for not approving 12 percent reservations for Muslims. 'I had met PM 15 times and wrote 50 letters so far for the sake of reservations. Still, Centre hasn't responded positively. You know Me as a Leader who would never give up the fight...I will get the reservations I had promised at any cost,' he asserted.
Guess, What Amit Shah has pledged during the poll campaigning in Telangana? He made it clear BJP will never allow TRS Government to implement 12 percent reservations for Muslims. 'BJP will neither grant reservations based on religion nor allow others to implement them,' told Shah.
