Amrutha's Failed Attempt To See Her Father's Funerals

A tense situation erupted in Miriyalaguda with Amrutha Pranay tried to see the dead body of her father, Maruthi Rao, and participate in his last riots. Maruthi Rao is believed to be the mastermind in the brutal murder of his son-in-law Pranay.
Maruthi Rao who checked into the Arya Vysya Bhavan in Hyderabad's Khairatabad area on Saturday night was found dead in his room under suspicious circumstances.
Amrutha visited the Hindu graveyard in Gandhi Nagar in Miryalaguda where the last rites of Rao were being conducted, following a huge procession across town where his family members and relatives participated along with the public of the town.
Fearing that she might get attacked the police had given her tight security. The sympathizers of Maruthi Rao who gathered at the graveyard in huge numbers had started to create a scene there even before Amrutha has got down from the car.
Rao's younger brother, Sravan, completed the rituals for the last rites as Rao doesn’t have any sons.
"She wanted to go to see her father for one last time. That is true. But then she saw statements given by her relatives including her uncle in the media, and she became disheartened," Pranay's father, Balaswamy, told.
"I don't know what she is thinking. It is her wish to go or not. It would be good if she is allowed to visit and gets some closure," he added.
Seemingly justified Rao's actions, Sravan said: "The daughter had damaged everything and he may have killed himself due to that, but why should he regret anything? What wrong has he done?"
