By: Tupaki Desk | 20 Dec 2017 9:41 AM GMTAnantapur TDP Mayor Swaroopa lashed out at MP JC Diwakar Reddy for allegedly stopping the development. 'Though we have done development works with hundreds of crores, JC who wears black spectacles is unable to see them. Better if he wears white glasses,' she advised.
Swaroopa alleged JC Diwakar Reddy arrives to Anantapur once in three months and doesn't even have a look at the development activities being carried out. 'JC would only care about Tilak Road and Suryanagar. He didn't offer even 50 paise for the development of Anantapur. Instead of obstructing good work, JC must focus on serving the people and retiring from politics,' opined the Mayor.
On this occasion, Swaroopa informed about the development activities being take up in parks. She reviewed the works being done at Rajiv Children's Park in Housing Board and Buddha Vihar Park in Adarsh Nagar. In Rajiv Children's Park, Facilities have been provided for training youngsters in Taekwando. She instructed Officials to complete the works of Open Gym within three days. Later, Mayor reached Buddha Vihar Park and ordered authorities to complete all the works by Sankranthi. She asked the concerned officials to start laying CC Road, costing Rs 22 lakh, before the park immediately. For the convenience of people, Gyms for Men and Women are being arranged separately.
