AP Assembly Session ends within 30 Minutes

A Special Session of AP Assembly is being convened Today to clear the Goods & Services Tax (GST) Bill. However, The Assembly has been adjourned within 30 minutes after the proceedings began.
Amidst the protest launched by YSR Congress, Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu introduced the GST Bill in AP Assembly. TDP MLA Anand Babu and BJP Legislator Vishnu Kumar Raju delivered their address. AP CM Chandrababu Naidu has concluded his speech on GST within few minutes due to the disruptions created by Main Opposition.
Soon after the proceedings began, YSR Congress MLAs demanded Speaker to permit them to debate on Farmers Issues and MSP. They surrounded the Speaker's podium after the request was turned down saying the session is meant only for passing GST Bill. YCP MLAs even raised slogans of 'Avinithi CM Down Down'. Speaker Kodela adjourned the House soon after the GST Bill was passed.
