Kanna's Elevation - Revolt Of Loyalists?

There is severe opposition over the elevation of Kanna Lakshminarayana as AP BJP President within the party. RSS Members and those Leaders who stood as a backbone for BJP in AP have been firmly opposing this move. Due to the bad propaganda launched by TDP, BJP Leaders are hesitant to claim as Party Loyalists and some of them have been contemplating to quit.
Until recently, Somu Veerraju was the front-runner to become AP BJP Chief. This is why Kanna Lakshminarayana resigned to the party and planned to join YSR Congress. Quickly, BJP Central Leadership intervened and pacified the Ex-Minister with the post of Party's AP President.
Since the orders were issued by the party, Somu Veerraju kept maintaining low profile as he wasn't satisfied with the post of Election Management Committee President. This seems to be much bigger than any crisis faced by AP BJP so far.
Kanna Lakshminarayana served as Minister till 2014. Post the last general elections, He shifted loyalties to BJP and kept complaining about the Ruling TDP. And now, He got an opportunity to spearhead the battle against TDP.
