It is going to be five-day week for the secretariat and other employees who works at AP new capital Amaravati. Andhra Pradesh state government has decided to reduce the working days to all employees who willing to relocate to the temporary state secretariat that is been coming up at Velagapudi of Guntur district. Govt has issued GO today in which it says that it will be a 5-day working affair for one year to facilitate a smooth transitioning for the employees who wants to relocate to Amaravathi

It's known that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister has recently asked all employees to move to the capital region as soon as possible. Several employees showing reluctance to shift to the new capital due to lack of sufficient facilities and residential infrastructure.

This move can be seen as incentive to all the employees and govt wants to shift the employees to the capital region by June 27. As per reports offices for secretaries, ministers and the chief minister will be located in Velagapudi and other offices will be located in Vijayawada and Guntur
