AP to purchase Developed Plots from Farmers
By: Tupaki Desk | 30 Dec 2015 3:49 AM GMTIn an unexpected development, AP Government decided to buy developed land from farmers who took part in the Land Pooling Scheme.
A Top Official of Capital Region Development Authority says, Including lands of 100 sq mts or 119 square yards in the layout is a herculean task. Even Farmers willn't be able to use such small pieces of lands for commercial purpose and they would face other hurdles like building rules & regulations.
As a result, CRDA Officials will be holding talks with farmers who were entitled to receive small piece of land for convincing them to sell it to the Government itself. Either these farmers can sell the plots or buy a piece of land in other area by obtaining transferable deed instrument as compensation.
CRDA is also give an option to the Land Owners - Better take one single big plot rather than two small plots at different locations.
