AP High Court in Nagarjuna University?

The process of High Court division has speeden up after Centre fixed June 2nd, 2018 as the deadline. In the recent meeting, AP CM Chandrababu Naidu discussed with High Officials about the suitable location for establishing the Temporary High Court. Officials opined, 'Nagarjuna University buildings or Structures near Gannavaram Airport or High-Rise Buildings at Kanchikacherla near Vijayawada are best suitable for AP High Court'.
A Letter has been sent to Hyderabad High Court Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan on December 27th to constitute a committee to conduct inspection of the suitable locations identified by AP Officials. CM Chandrababu Naidu is keen to establish High Court at Nagarjuna University located near the Guntur-Vijayawada highway. As many as 100 Plots in Lingamaneni Estate have been in the control of AP Government. 50 out of them are Duplex buildings. They can be allotted for Judges, Officials and Staff.
Few high-rise structures in Mangalagiri and near Thadepalli National Highway are under consideration. The panel appointed by High Court will decide which one among the locations identified will be best suitable. Thereafter, President will issue a gazette notification as per the recommendations of Supreme Court Chief Justice and Law Ministry. That's when establishment of Temporary High Court in AP gets completed.
