Andhra Pradesh - 2nd Most Corrupt: Survey

Andhra Pradesh stood as second most corrupt state among 20 States where the study has been conducted. In AP, As much as 38 percent of respondents opined that corruption has increased. Whereas, 58 percent of people said there isn't much change in the situation even in TDP rule.
Countrywide, Corruption has decreased to a large extent as per the public opinion. People opined corruption has come down from 73 persent in 2005 to 43 percent at present.
Most Corrupt States:
1) Karnataka (77 percent), 2) AP (74 percent), 3) Tamil Nadu (68 percent), 4) Maharashtra (57 percent), 6) Jammu & Kashmir (44 percent), 7) Punjab (42 percent).
