Capital Foundation-Laying Ceremony is State Event

The Andhra Pradesh government has decided to develop the upcoming state capital Amaravati to be world class and the preparations are going in full swing.The stone-laying ceremony will be held on the Vijaya Dasami festival on October 22.
Andhra Pradesh government decided to declare the foundation stone-laying ceremony as a state function and an official GO was released to this effect.
As per the GO Prime Minister Narendra Modi would attend the ceremony. Many other Indian and foreign dignitaries would also participate in the event. As per the reports invitations will be send to all party leaders across the nation.
Its known that Singapore government agencies have prepared the Master Plan for the three-layered capital- seed capital, capital city and capital region.
