Andhra Pradesh Reports Over 8,000 Fresh Infections

Andhra Pradesh, which has been reporting a drop in fresh pandemic infections for a week yet again reported a fewer number of cases in the past 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, 74,710 samples were conducted in the state and as many as 8,096 patients were found infected with the Coronavirus. So far, a total of 6,09,558 patients have been infected with the virus.
On the other hand, fatalities in connections with the virus are increasing daily which in turn raises many fears about the virus spread. In a single day, 67 succumbed to the virus and so far, 5,244 patients breathed their last battling the virus.
The recoveries of the Coronavirus continue to surge in the state as a record 11,803 patients recovered from the hospitals in the past 24 hours.
For the first time, the total recoveries in the state quintupled compared to the count of active cases. So far, 5,19,891 patients have been recovered from the virus, while the active cases stood at 84,423.
