Andhra Pradesh makes it to third position in Niti Aayog's SDG India Index

Godâs own country Kerala made it to the top spot by achieving 75 points on a scale of 100. Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu shared the second position in the list with 75 points. Andhra Pradesh made it to the third spot with 72 points. Besides AP, Goa, Karnataka, and Uttrakhand were also allocated the third position.
Compared to 2018, Andhra Pradesh saw an overall growth in the list by reaching the top five list. On the Clean Energy Front, the state made it to the top position.Sikkim and Maharashtra bagged fourth and fifth positions in the Index with 71 and 70 points respectively.
Andhra Pradesh has bagged the top spot in the category of Clean Energy. While Gujarat and Delhi, and Kerala, and Chandigarh made it to the top list in the category of good health and quality education respectively.
