24x7 Water Supply for AP Industries!

AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is leaving no stone unturned for Industrial development in the state. After succeeding in proving round the clock power supply, He now took up the task of ensuring all the major Industries receive 24x7 water supply.
For accomplishing the mission, Chandrababu Naidu decided to allot 30 Thousand Million Cubic (TMC) feet of water only for Industrial purpose. Irrigation Department will take the responsibility of uninterrupted water supply to Industries.
This move is an attempt to lure Industrialists to set up their new units in AP. The agenda of AP CM is to develop as many as eight Industrial Clusters by attracting Industrialists with the offer of land, power supply & water as a Special Package.
Already, 10 lakh acres of land bank has been identified for this purpose by the State Government. Six Clusters (Sri City, Hindupur, Krishnapatnam, Srikalahasti,
Donakonda and Orvakal) will be provided uninterrupted water supply in the first phase and it costs the state exchequer Rs 5,000 crore.
