Breaking: AP Reported Highest Number Of Cases In A Single Day

In a shocking development, Andhra Pradesh witnessed the highest number of cases in a single day with 10,376 fresh infections reported in the state in the last 24 hours taking the total infections of the virus to 1,40,933.
According to the health bulletin, a total of 61,699 samples were tested and 10,376 fresh infections of the contagious disease were detected. With, 68 fresh casualties, the total fatalities zoomed to 1,349.
On the other hand, 3,822 patients managed to recover from the virus and got discharged from the hospital accordingly. With this, the total recoveries in the state mounted to 63,864, while the active cases stood at 75,720.
Looking at the regions with the most number of infections in the state, East Godavari tops the list with 20,395 cases followed by Kurnool and Anantapur districts with 16,847 and 14,699 cases respectively.
These three districts account for a lion share of infections of the ongoing pandemic and Kurnool and East Godavari made it to the list of top ten regions that contain more cases in the country.
