Temporary Break For Temporary secretariat

Recently the state government issued a GO authorizing the Commissioner, capital region development authority (CRDA), to initiate the process for the construction of makeshift capital at a cost of Rs 180 crore
As per reports AP CM has to reconsider the decision on construction of the secretariat in Amaravati Township, as the farmers who have given their lands for new capital are against the idea.
CRDA has already passed a GO 278 for the construction of the secretariat in the Amaravati Township across 20 acres of land. It was earlier announced that the new temporary secretariat will be set up in the lad acquired from 29 villages collectively.
Its known that Centre has agreed to provide a special financial support of Rs. 500 crore to be spent exclusively on the construction of Raj Bhavan, the State Secretariat, the State Assembly and the High Court.
