Revanth Reddy is always known to be one of the key leaders in TDP. His importance in the party only grew after the bifurcation and there was a time when everyone began seeing him as the future of Telugu Desam in Telangana. However, The kind of respect he commanded was lost due to his involvement in the cash-for-vote scandal. Now, Even TDP Leaders doesn't bother about his suggestions and they weren't taking him into confidence while taking crucial decisions.
Revanth Reddy came up with the proposal of passing a resolution against defections of TDP MLAs into TRS at the Mahanadu scheduled to take place in Tirupati from May 27th. AP TDP Leaders firmly objected it saying such move would back fire in the current scenario. 'How can we pass a resolution against defectors when YCP MLAs were invited into our Party?,' questions the leaders of AP TDP.
Meanwhile, Few other Telangana TDP Leaders joined chorus with Revanth Reddy saying what else would be discussed at Mahanadu if a clear stand wasn't taken against defections into TRS. Revanth Reddy decided to settle the issue in the presence of party chief Chandrababu Naidu. But, He is unlikely to receive a positive response in the present situation.
