Pitch Pooja ahead of Ind-Eng Test in Vizag

On Thursday, A Priest performed pitch pooja ahead of the 2nd Test Match between India and England. Even Team India head coach Anil Kumble was present during the rituals. The rituals include chant of vedic mantras, breaking of coconut and burning of an incense stick.
Andhra Pradesh Cricket Association (ACA) Officials informed Pooja was performed to keep hurdles at bay. Free entry was permitted to fans on Day 1 of the Test Match. Total capacity of the stadium stood at 28,000.
India won the toss and elected to bat first. With 251/3 in 68 Overs, India is in a commanding position right now. Pujara got out after scoring 119 runs. Kohli is still in crease with an individual score of 110.
