Anna Canteens in Andhra Pradesh

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's populist scheme 'Amma Canteens' has been highly successful in Tamil Nadu. Now, Her Andhra Pradesh counterpart Chandrababu Naidu is going to introduce 'Anna Canteens' in the state to win the hearts of poor and middle class people.
Apparently, AP Government wants to set up Anna Canteens in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati and Rajahmundry. Later, It will be extended to other parts of the state with necessary changes upon receiving the feedback from the people.
1st Phase:
1st Centre offers only Breakfast
2nd Centre offers Breakfast and Lunch
3rd Centre offers all the three meals of the day
Recently, A delegation led by Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha visited Chennai to study the implementation of Amma Canteens in Tamil Nadu. The same model will be introduced in AP soon.
